The most difficult thing a person can do is stop and think. When we are not thinking about something, we are not in that place where we are truly focused on what we are doing. When we are focused on what we are doing, then we are doing it.
The hard part of this is knowing what you’re doing when you’re not thinking about what you’re doing is that the second you are aware of what you’ve done, you’re not in the place where you can stop and think. So you can’t really stop and think if you want to stop. You’ve given in to the subconscious and are just getting on with what you’re doing.

It’s like a little game of tag. Let’s say youre on the road and youve just gotten the last two or three miles of the journey done. You hit the last stop and you’re thinking, “that was the last stop” and yet youre still going. It’s like not thinking about what you’re doing and youre just getting on with your life (and this can happen in a variety of situations).
There’s a huge amount of information you can take away from this, but it’s just a very small amount. Youre going to be a lot more careful in this day and age. Youre spending too much time worrying about your own stuff, and youre having a hard time figuring out what you’re going to do next. If you don’t figure this out, you can get into the habit of talking to yourself.
So if you are like me and youre not that good at thinking in little chunks of time, you can do this by taking a few minutes to think about the present and say to yourself, “What is going on right now?” When you finish your thought, just go back to the present and youll be a lot more aware than you were.
In life, we can often take a few minutes to think about what were doing and what we want to accomplish, but we need to actually do it. If we don’t, we can get into the habit of thinking about the future and the things that we want to accomplish. In this way, as we age, we become more aware of what we are doing and how we are doing it. When we are in good physical health, we are more self-aware.
In essence, all we have to do is choose to be more self-aware and we get ourselves out of the habit of being self-aware. The same thing is true for other activities that we might enjoy. I enjoy watching a movie and I also enjoy thinking about how the movie is going to end. If I can choose to be more self-aware, I can choose to do these things and not care what happens in the future.
This is a great way to avoid the stress of worrying about the future. The less we worry, the more we are able to enjoy things that we like. Remember, in the end, it doesn’t matter what happens because we’re always going to be more self-aware. That’s the only thing that can keep us from getting in the habit of being self-aware.
The way I’ve been able to avoid self-awareness has been by developing habits. I don’t have to think about the future or the past, and am able to get away from all that. This also helps me avoid stress because I can do whatever I want to do in the present moment. I don’t need to worry about the past, and I don’t need to worry about the future.
